Why is Nam Dee Waterfall So Special?

Nam Dee Waterfall is one of the natural highlights of Luang Namtha. If you don't know what to do here, the waterfall is definitely one of the things to visit. It is about a 10-minute walk on a good path through the jungle in Nam Dee Village. The waterfall is a pleasant place to take a picnic. Typically regarded as a simple path, it requires approximately 17 minutes to finish. About 6 km northeast of the town centre, the Lao Huay (Lenten) village of Ban Nam Dee (Good water) is a good place to observe the progress of bamboo papermaking. Behind the village you will see the entrance to the Nam Dee Waterfall. The area around the waterfall offers good facilities, like a small handicraft shop managed by the villagers; toilets and a house for picnics, etc.
