Welcome to Vietnam, your fun and memorable family Indochina Tour in Vietnam will bring you to discover the Mekong Delta then have fun and relax on beach, then travel north to Vietnams Capital Hanoi and then enjoy stunning view along Halong Bay.
Upon arrival in Saigon, you will be warmly welcomed by your private local guide then escorts to your hotel.
After short rest, enjoy a welcome dinner on a Saigon River Cruise boat where you will enjoy the beautiful night scenery and have your first impression of this oriental city at the beginning of your Indochina tour in Vietnam.
Full Day Cu Chi Tunnels, Cooking Class & Saigon City Tour
Enjoy a half day tour to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning. The Cu Chi tunnel was built during the war time by the Vietnamese for fighting with enemies, but nowadays it has become an interesting and fun place for tourists. Your kids will have fun in discover the complicated tunnel system in the forest.
Lunch will be arranged in a local organic farm, where you will enjoy picking up fresh vegetable from fields with your kids, then join a cooking class together to learn how to cook Vietnamese food. Perhaps this will be the first time that you will eat the food cooked by your kids, enjoy a family lunch together with your kids.
Drive back to Saigon city in the afternoon, enjoy a short city tour to visit Notre Dame Cathedral - a neo-Romanesque cathedral constructed between 1877 and 1883 using bricks from Marseilles and stained-glass windows from Chartres; Old Sai Gon Post Office; Cho lon - the Chinatown of the City and the Emperor Jade Pagoda(Phuoc Hai - one of the most interesting pagodas in Vietnam). These are the signature sites of Saigon that every Vietnam tour makes should not missed. the Rest of the day is free at leisure.
My Tho (Bentre)—Discover Mekong Delta
Enjoy a full day tour from Saigon to My Tho to discover the Mekong River Delta, which is famed as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. You will take a private boat tour through the water coconut forest to center of Mekong Delta, your kids will be interested to see the local life of local people, and to see how local people make coconut candy. Then enjoy a biking tour (about 1 hour) with your kids to discover the villages and a sampan trip through the narrow canals, have fun!
Lunch will be arranged in local restaurant in the village, kids will love to taste the local deep fried Mekong Fish and other local food.
Transfer back to Can Tho in the afternoon and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Can Tho.
Boating to Phu Quoc Island
In the morning, we will drive to Rach Gia (around 1.5 hours drive) to board the boat to Phu Quoc Island (boat trip around 2.5 hours). Upon arrive in Phu Quoc Island, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the ferry and then escorts you to hotel.
Rest of the day is at leisure, enjoy the beach and relax.
Phu Quoc Island--Phu Quoc Pearl Farm
Morning, our guide will pick up you to Coi Nguon for seeing the international recognized Phu Quoc ridge back dogs, the sea eagles and the traditional Phu Quoc house found in early 20th century. Next stop, Phu Quoc Pearl Farm: Find out procedures of pearl production. A wide collection of cultured pearls is also displayed for your contemplation and shopping and then guide will take you to Sao beach where sea, sand & sun blended in a perfect harmony, our itinerary will continue with Ham Ninh Fisherman Ancient Village for Experience the the simple life of the fishermen. You will be also captured by a lively and cheerfully atmosphere of the marketplace from vendors in conical palm hats sitting on the ground offering fresh sea food to sales people at their well stocked stands. The last stop in Pepeer garden is captivated by word of "itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny peppercorns" of patient growers and a traditional fish sauce factory for learning about the Phu Quoc fish sauce production and enjoy the unique aromatic flavor of Phu Quoc fish sauce. Finish tour at 13.00 PM
